Maxilla the upper bone that holds the teeth and forms the upper part of the jaws.

Pathology of the maxilla:

• Nasopalatine duct cyst.
• Adenomatoid odontogenic tumour.
• Ameloblastoma.
• Paget's disease of the bone.
• Others.

Secondary:

• Squamous cell carcinoma of the skin.
