Foregut duplication cyst is an uncommon benign anomaly of the foregut.

- Uncommon.[1]
- Benign.
- Posterior mediastinum - usually thoracic.[2]
Microscopic
Features:
- Respiratory-type epithelium.
- Negative for atypia.

Esophagus (Submitted as “Esophageal Cyst”), Excision: - Compatible with cyst wall lined by respiratory-type epithelium. - NEGATIVE for malignancy.
