Thyroid-like follicular carcinoma of the kidney is a recently described rare kidney tumour.

It is considered an emerging entity by the Vancouver modification of the 2004 WHO classification of renal neoplasia.[1]

General

  • Extremely rare.

Microscopic

Features:

  • Thyroid follicule-like structures with eosinophilic material.
