- Diffuse & bilateral:
- Peutz-Jeghers syndrome.
- Addison's disease.
- Drug-induced.
- Smoker's melanosis.
- Focal:
- Vascular lesions.
- Amalgam tattoo.
- Melanocytic lesions.
Smoker's melanosis
General
- Benign.
- Associated with smoking.
- May be seen in non-smokers. (???)
Microscopic
Features:
- Basal melanosis.
- +/-Melanin incontinence.
