Interstitial cystitis is a benign painful pathology of the urothelium.
It is also known as painful bladder syndrome.[1][2]

- Treatment difficult.[1]

- Urgency.
- Frequency.
- Pain.

- +/-Ulceration.
Note:
- Fulguration of ulcers (if present) may provide symptomatic relief.[3]
