Schaumann bodies
In pathology, Schaumann bodies are calcium and protein inclusions inside of Langhans giant cells as part of a granuloma.
They are named after Swedish dermatologist/pathologist Jörgen Nilsen Schaumann (1879-1953).

- Sarcoidosis.
- Hypersensitivity pneumonitis.
- Tuberculosis - uncommon.
- Berylliosis.
