Rhinoscleroma is a rare infectious condition of the head and neck.

General

  • Caused by Klebsiella rhinoscleromatis.
  • Nose involved +95% of the time.[1]

Gross

  • Nasal mass - may be deforming.

  • Macrophages - clear-to-foamy cytoplasm.
  • Lymphocytes.
  • Plasma cells.
