Standardized uptake value, abbreviated SUV, is a semi-quantitative measure in PET scans.
Non-small cell lung cancer
- The SUV of fluorine-18 fluorodeoxyglucose of the primary tumour is a predictor of lymph node metastases in multivariate analysis.[1]
- Cut-off: 9.3.
- Sensitivity ~75%.
- Specificity ~54%.
