Asteroid bodies in sarcoidosis. (WC/Nephron)
Asteroid bodies is an uncommon cytoplasmic bodies seen in giant cells[1] and classically associated with sarcoidosis.
May be seen in:
- Sarcoidosis.
- Foreign body reactions.[2]
- Sporotrichosis.[3]
