Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, abbreviated NSAID, a commonly used group of drugs.
Common NSAIDs
- Acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) - AKA aspirin.
- Ibuprofen.
- Naproxen.
Indications
- Pain, e.g. osteoarthritis.
- Cardioprotection (asprin) - low dose.
