Virtual slides

• LP currently limited by space.
• The bandwidth and space requirements for virtual slides is big. Each case is typically 2 GB.

Options:

• Build infrastructure for virtual slides.
  • Some work done by Pathowiki and published in German. It is an interesting read.
  • There is an open frame for virtual slides being built -- see http://openslide.org/
