Ber-EP4 is a commonly available immunostain. It is directed against EpCam.[1]
Positive
- Basal cell carcinoma.
- Lung adenocarcinoma (55 positive of 59 cases[2]).
Negative
- Squamous cell carcinoma of the skin.[3]
- Malignant mesothelioma (18 positive of 70 cases[2]).
- Microcystic adnexal carcinoma.[4]
