Microscopic
Features:
- Tubular glands.
- Cribriform pattern common.
- May see mucinous secretion.[1]
- May have squamous differentiation/squamous metaplasia - useful for differentiating from sex-cord stromal tumours and germ cell tumours.[1]
DDx:
- Sertoli-Leydig cell tumour - also has tubules.
- Serous carcinoma of the ovary.
- Metastasis - esp. endometrioid endometrial carcinoma.
