The sections show melanocytes in the dermis and epidermis. There is no pagetoid spread of
melanocytes in the epidermis. Superficially, melanocytes are in nests. Melanocytes mature
with depth. No melanocytic proliferative activity is seen. No significant melanocyte atypia is apparent.

Fine strands of benign basaloid epidermal cells extending from the epidermis (reticulated
pattern). Pseudohorn cysts are present.
